Seeking a Gastroenterologist to provide clinic & surgical care at a healthcare center in Little Rock, AR.

Requirements :

  • Full & unrestricted License in any State, or US Territory
  • BC / BE (ABIM)
  • Min. of 1 year of exp. in direct patient care
  • BLS, ACLS
  • DEA
  • NPI

    • Responsibilities :

  • Provide comprehensive Gastroenterology care, including clinical services & procedures.
  • Offer consultative services at the patient's bedside for non-ambulatory patients, & in the clinic for those who can visit the OP facility.
  • Notify patients of their test results promptly.
  • Deliver discharge educ & follow-up instructions, coordinating with the next care setting for GI patients.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement activities & attend committee meetings as required by the facility's Chief of Service, Chief of Staff, or their designee.
  • Complete necessary QM / PI documentation for procedures, complications, & outcomes, adhering to patient safety & infection control standards.
  • Strive to prevent medication errors, falls, & patient injuries during care delivery.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned.
