Position Overview
We're seeking a Recruiter & Talent Operations Coordinator to lead our hiring efforts across educational roles including teachers, therapists, administrators, and support staff. This role requires experience in education sector recruiting, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to identify candidates who align with our mission of student success.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and recruit qualified educators, therapists, and administrative staff
- Manage full-cycle recruiting process from initial outreach through offer negotiation
- Build and maintain talent pipeline using applicant tracking systems
- Conduct initial candidate screenings and coordinate interview processes
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and team dynamics
- Develop recruiting strategies for hard-to-fill positions
- Maintain relationships with educational institutions and professional networks - Support onboarding process for new hires
Required Qualifications
2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in education or healthcareUnderstanding of educational roles, certifications, and licensing requirementsExperience with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools - Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skillsExcellent communication and relationship-building abilitiesKnowledge of employment law and hiring best practicesSelf-motivated with ability to manage multiple searches simultaneouslyPreferred Qualifications
Background in education or experience recruiting for schools / districtsFamiliarity with special education and therapy rolesExperience with diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiringKnowledge of teacher certification and licensing processesExisting network of education professionalsExperience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing toolsSuccess Metrics
