Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and proficiency in Siemens equipment for weekend day shifts.

Responsibilities

Position is based in an outpatient imaging center with a dedicated 24-hour emergency department

Responsibilities include both x-ray and CT from 7am to noon and CT only from noon to 7pm on weekends

Work schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM, on day shifts

No on-call requirement

Potential to float within scope to meet facility needs and to affiliate hospitals if needed

Patient population includes emergency and outpatient imaging cases

Uses Siemens equipment for imaging procedures

EPIC is the electronic medical record system used

Must be comfortable working independently on weekends and collaborating with another technologist on Fridays

High emergency department imaging volumes may occur during weekend shifts

Must be a team player with the ability to function independently

Returned staff must be gone at least 1 year before returning as travelers

No more than 7 days of requested time off per 13 week contract; no time off permitted during the first week

Facial hair must allow for proper fit testing, otherwise shaving is required

No local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius

No medical marijuana cards accepted

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of CT experience required

Experience with Siemens CT equipment required

Proficiency in EPIC charting required

Valid state license required; license required if applicable

Must reside outside a 75-mile radius from the facility

References from supervisors within the last 2 years preferred

First-time travelers are accepted
