Fred Hutch Cancer Center is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Medical Informatics Officer (CMIO) to lead and oversee the integration of information technology into the clinical and medical domains. Reporting directly to the CIO with a dotted line to the CMO, the CMIO will work at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and clinical operations to drive the adoption and effective use of health IT solutions that improve patient care, enhance clinical workflows, and support the research mission of Fred Hutch.

The CMIO will collaborate with clinicians, researchers, IT teams, and administrative leaders to define, implement, and optimize technology strategies that enable innovation and enhance the quality, efficiency, and safety of care delivery.

Responsibilities

Clinical Informatics Strategy and Leadership

• Lead the development and implementation of the strategic vision for medical informatics, ensuring alignment with Fred Hutch's overall clinical, research, and organizational goals.
• Advocate for the use of health IT solutions to support clinical and research workflows, improve patient care, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Guide the digital transformation of clinical and research environments, ensuring that the clinical informatics strategy is forward-looking and leverages emerging technologies.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $308,984 to $543,379, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications. This position may be eligible for relocation assistance.
