OPSEC Sr. Technical Analyst

GovCIO is currently hiring an OPSEC Sr. Technical Analyst to identify and mitigate risks to sensitive information. This position is located at Lackland AFB, TX and is an on-site role.

Responsibilities

• Correlate threat data from various sources to establish the identity and modus operandi of hackers active in client networks and posing a potential threat.
• Provide the customer with assessments and reports facilitating situational awareness and understanding of current cyber threats and adversaries.
• Develop cyber threat profiles based on geographic region, country, group, or individual actors.
• Produce cyber threat assessments based on entity threat analysis.
• May provide computer forensic and intrusion support to high-technology investigations.
• Research and maintain proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in computer network vulnerabilities, data hiding, network security, and encryption.
• Identify and mitigate risks to sensitive information by analyzing threats, vulnerabilities, and potential impacts.
• Develop and implement OPSEC plans, assess security measures, and ensure compliance with relevant policies and classification guidance.
• Perform regular reviews of facilities, assets, and activities to ensure OPSEC measures are effective.
• Educate USAF personnel on OPSEC principles, methodologies, and best practices.
