Psychiatrist - Associate Medical Director opening in CT Located in Mansfield, 26m to Hartford Full Time Position Overview : We are seeking an Associate Medical Director of Psychiatric Services to provide leadership and clinical oversight for adult inpatient care. This role involves direct clinical care, supervision of the inpatient medical staff, and collaboration with the leadership team. Key Responsibilities : Monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of services provided by the inpatient medical staff.Promote collaboration among disciplines through leadership in clinical meetings and case conferences.Manage high-acuity cases and address clinical concerns.Participate in policy formation and ensure compliance with policies.Lead inpatient quality improvement initiatives and monitor performance dashboards.Collaborate with other departments to standardize clinical workflows.Perform additional duties as needed. Qualifications : Experience in adult inpatient care and evaluation services, preferably within a multidisciplinary team.Board Certified (or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency) in Psychiatry.Current medical license and DEA certification.
