To be considered for Cost Accountant, here's what you'll need to bring with you :

  • Associates degree in Accounting / Business
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Fundamental understanding of accounting principles
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

As a Cost Accountant, you will :

  • Monitor, maintain, and analyze product and project costs in LN ERP system
  • Assist in the maintenance and review of Estimates at Completion (EAC) and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Help to ensure compliance with new revenue recognition standard ASC 606
  • Work with key team members to analyze manufacturing, sales and general cost center variances; recommend improvements to efficiency and spending
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly closings, financial reporting and analysis
  • Assist accounting team, as needed
  • Other duties as required.

    • Salary Range Transparency : Murphy, NC $50,000.00$68,000.00 Annually

    The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
