ER RN Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Pennington, NJ 08534 (New Jersey healthcare jobs)

Setting : Emergency Department (ED) – Float Pool, rotating among 4 hospital campuses

Employment Type : Travel RN Contract

Contract Duration : 8 weeks

Start Date : December 1, 2025

Hours per Week : 36

Shift : 12-Hour Nights (7 : 00pm – 7 : 30am)

Shifts per Week : 3

Schedule : Every other weekend & every other holiday

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1,880 – $2,020

Scrub Color : Navy Blue

EMR : Cerner

ER Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience

Active New Jersey or Compact RN License required at time of application

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale (current and valid)

Flu vaccination required for all healthcare professionals

ER RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department across multiple hospital campuses

Assess, triage, and monitor patients with acute and emergent medical conditions

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide patient-centered care

Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to clinical protocols

Accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR system

Maintain compliance with hospital and healthcare regulations and policies

Float to various Emergency Departments as needed, adapting quickly to new clinical environments
