Clinical Instructor - Cybersecurity role at NCCU Public Administration. This is a fixed-term, non-tenure-track faculty position for 1 year with a teaching load of 4 courses per Fall and 4 per Spring (8 total per academic year). Synchronous and asynchronous modalities may be used.

Primary Purpose of Position
Responsible for teaching undergraduate cybersecurity and related courses; may teach graduate courses. Responsibilities include learner content development, delivery, engagement, and performance measurement. The role involves teaching in online environments and demonstrating teaching effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Preferred : Ph.D. in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or a closely related field from an AACSB accredited program or equivalent; or a master's degree with significant relevant professional experience in cybersecurity. Doctoral degrees from AACSB or similarly accredited programs are preferred.
- Alternatively, candidates with a Master's degree and substantial relevant professional experience in cybersecurity will be considered.
- Currency in the discipline, effective oral and written communication skills, experience with instructional technology, and ability to engage learners and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to teach undergraduate coursework and potentially graduate courses; evidence of teaching effectiveness in online environments is desirable.
Responsibilities and Duties
Teach undergraduate cybersecurity and related courses; prefer experience in online teaching and diversified modalities.Engage learners in study of organizational operations and performance.Contribute to teaching content development, delivery, engagement, and assessment.Engage in service to the School, and participate in collegial governance as appropriate.Minimum Education / Experience
Doctoral degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline is preferred. A Master's degree with at least 18 credit hours in the discipline and significant professional experience will be considered.Professional discipline certification is desirable. Degrees from AACSB International or other relevantly accredited programs are preferred.Licenses or Certifications
