Associate Attorney — Maritime Law and Personal Injury Plaintiff
Location : Miami
Award-winning law firm seeks an Associate Maritime Attorney to join its South Florida litigation division. The practice covers Personal Injury and Wrongful Death Claims, as well as Maritime claims such as cruise ship passenger and crew member claims, boating accidents, premises liability, negligent security, and claims against resorts (Florida & non-U.S.).
Responsibilities
- Handle cruise ship passenger and crew member claims (civil and arbitrations, including crewmembers).
- Manage boating accidents, premises liability, negligent security, and resort-related claims.
Ideal Candidate
Minimum 3–8 years of experience in Plaintiff Personal Injury and Maritime law, with trial experience in Federal and Southern District courts.Autonomous work environment with potential for hybrid work after a vesting period and potential for partnership.Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of plaintiff or Maritime experience; Maritime / Admiralty Board Certification is a plus.Federal Court experience and admission to Southern District Trial Bar required.Civil Trial Board Certification is a plus.Member of the Florida Bar in good standing; general litigation experience including motion practice, fact and expert witness deposition, and discovery.Strong communication and people skills; bilingual is a plus; professionalism and client service orientation.Compensation & Benefits
