Job Overview

As a Server, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. You will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that each guest feels welcomed and valued. Your ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail will contribute significantly to the overall success of our restaurant.

Duties

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
  • Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
  • Process payments accurately through cash handling and basic math skills.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
  • Assist with hosting duties as needed, including managing reservations through OpenTable.
  • Adhere to all food safety guidelines and regulations.

    • Skills

  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality.
  • Experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings is preferred.
  • Culinary experience is a plus, along with knowledge of food handling practices.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
  • Proficiency in using POS systems such as Aloha or Micros for order entry and payment processing.
  • Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a positive guest experience.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and payment processing.
  • Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, including serving, bussing, or host / host roles.
