Job Description :

The Senior Accountant will provide analytical and strategic support to the Plant Controller and other Operations Management of the Cleveland, NC plant. The primary duties of this position include performance of monthly financial close tasks, financial forecasting and analysis, managing the company's specific financial KPIs, providing analytical support to the Plant Controller to identify areas of opportunity to reduce costs and improve efficiencies. The Senior Accountant will also assist in enforcing a strong internal control environment.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Provide analytical support to Plant Controller, including managing KPI's, performing cost analysis, etc.
• Update and publish daily KPI reports.
• Perform monthly financial close tasks (journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statement analysis, management reporting)
• Assist with preparation of monthly forecasts and Annual Operating Plan
• Track progress in the Operational Excellence incentive program and maintain payout accruals.
• Prepare forecasts and actuals reporting for cost savings projects
• Partner with Supply Chain team on inventory analysis and initiatives and coordination of physical inventory.
• Assist in enforcing all internal controls as well as assisting with all external and internal audits.
• Assist Operational Excellence initiatives by providing analytical support when applicable
• Participate in or lead process improvement projects
