Job Overview

Alta Group is hiring a Construction Supervisor - Residential Remodeling to oversee residential remodeling projects throughout the Seattle area. This role is ideal for a proactive leader with hands-on construction experience and a passion for craftsmanship. As the on-site lead, you\'ll be responsible for managing crews, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring that every phase of construction is executed to the highest standards—on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day job site operations for residential remodeling projects
  • Manage schedules, coordinate subcontractors, and maintain project timelines
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and meets Alta Group\'s quality standards
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address issues proactively
  • Communicate with clients, project managers, vendors, and inspectors
  • Resolve field conflicts and troubleshoot construction challenges in real-time
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports and change orders
  • Lead by example in promoting professionalism, cleanliness, and safety on all job sites

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of residential construction or remodeling experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry, framing, drywall, painting, and general remodeling practices
  • Proven ability to lead crews and manage multiple subcontractors
  • Exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with construction schedules, permitting, inspections, and vendor coordination
  • Proficient in using mobile technology for reporting and communication
  • Valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation required
  • OSHA training or safety certification is a plus
