Quality Assurance Supervisor
Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our Quality Team in Columbus, MS. In this role, you will direct and coordinate operational quality functions in line with applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and contracts. You will also oversee incoming, final, in-process, quality gate, and milestone inspections to find opportunities for improvement throughout the inspection cycle of components and aircraft. Additional facets of the role include :
- Evaluate and report on performance of team members and assign duties as required or directed by management
- Evaluate the airworthiness of aircraft, repairs, and components
- Must be able to make decisions regarding safety of flight operations
- Advanced decision making required between team members and other departments regarding aircraft status
Note : The incumbent for this role must have a valid & current Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P)
Your working environment : On the eastern border of Mississippi you'll find Columbus, home to our Helicopter manufacturing and assembly lines and Center of Excellence for the entire North America region. It's here that we produce the UH-72A Lakota Helicopters for the U.S. Army in addition to the H-125 aircraft for civil and commercial customers.
