ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details : \n

  • Work 12-hour night shifts from 5 : 00 PM to 5 : 00 AM

    • \n

  • 72 guaranteed hours bi-weekly

    • \n

  • Maximum 6 days return to original date

    • \n

  • Patient ratio typically 2 : 1, occasionally 3 : 1 for stable patients on rotating basis

    • \n

  • Required to float to other units

    • \n

  • Must manage highest level acuity patients with neuro / trauma background

    • \n

  • 3+ years of ICU RN experience required

    • \n

  • One week orientation including hospital-based learning, Cerner charting training, compliance training, and unit-specific training

    • \n

  • Work on both MSIC (3rd floor trauma ICU) and ICU4 (4th floor neuro ICU)

    • \n

  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIH certification

    • \n

  • Navy scrub color required

    • \n

  • Cerner EMR system

    • \n

  • Must be greater than 50 miles from facility - local candidates not accepted

    • \n

  • 34-bed unit capacity
