We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Physician Assistant (PA) - Emergency Medicine for Locum opportunity in Springfield, MA

Start Date : As soon as credentialed!

Schedule : 7A-7P days / / / 7P-7A nights / / 10A-10P / / 7A-5P / / 5P-3A

Position Overview :

Practice Setting :  ED

Percentage of Total Hospital Admissions Received from ED : 15%

Percentage of ED Patients Admitted to the Hospital Per Day : 15%

Percentage of ED Patients Transferred Per Day : minimal maybe 1-2 pt per day maybe

Total Number of Beds : 44 beds

Number of ED Physicians in Group :  2 docs always present on each shift / / 11 physicians in group currently

Fast Track in ED? Yes

Fast Track Staffed by APP

Percent of Total ED Volume Treated by Fast Track :  40%

Documentation System / EMR :  Epic

Trauma Level / Designation :   None
