- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing is required
- BLS completion
Join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals as a Registered Nurse I in the Med Surg 3 South unit at our state-of-the-art medical facility in Baltimore, United States. We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented nurse to provide exceptional care to patients with chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, pulmonary conditions, and infectious diseases.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments, gathering data from all available sources to formulate accurate nursing diagnosesDevelop and document individualized care plans with realistic, measurable goals based on patient assessmentsCoordinate and direct available resources and personnel in implementing and following care plansAdminister treatments and medications as ordered by physicians, ensuring adherence to established protocols and safety standardsPerform nursing interventions in accordance with care plans and evaluate patient responses through regular reassessmentsRevise care plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomesCollaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide holistic patient careMaintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities and observationsEducate patients and their families about disease management, treatment plans, and preventive care measuresDemonstrate a commitment to patient safety and quality improvement initiativesQualifications
Graduate from an approved Nursing SchoolCurrent and valid nursing license in the State of MarylandBLS (Basic Life Support) Provider CertificationStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team membersProficiency in computer skills necessary for documentation, information review, and communicationDetail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilitiesDemonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple patient assignments efficientlyKnowledge of chronic disease management, including diabetes, hypertension, pulmonary conditions, and infectious diseasesExperience in medical-surgical nursing preferredCommitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practiceAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environmentEmpathetic and patient-centered approach to nursing careFlexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and unit demandsAdditional Information
