Corporate Recruiter works with Director of Human Resources in developing strategies to recruit a strong work force and promotes R-V as an employer of choice. This position is responsible for the recruitment effort for all open positions and works alongside the management team to help find ideal candidates that will become ideal employees.
Essential Functions
Lead recruiting efforts along with the assistance of Director of Human Resources to meet the various staffing goals across R-V Industries and its Divisions. Identify and predict future staffing needs; work closely with management to create and implement company specific staffing strategies.Research and develop opportunities to recruit, retain, and promote ideal candidates. Coordinate all hiring steps throughout the recruitment process from start to end, including onboarding and screening.Serve as primary contact with contracted temporary employee services. Oversee the activities in preparation and distribution of weekly and monthly recruitment reports : job vacancy report, time to fill metric, etc.).Attend meetings with the department managers to learn about, plan out and discuss the positions to be filled and what qualifications are needed for each opening.Create job postings that are articulate and attention-grabbing to attract the right candidates, posting these ads on various online and offline resources.Meet with applicants to discuss the position and to screen them for suitability according to our Mission, Vision, and Values.Seek out candidates through networking, social media, and other tactics to hunt out the top people to fill open positionsSet hiring goals quarterly and annually with the Director of Human Resources.Manage all communication with candidates from the moment they apply until they get onboard.Interview candidates at various stages of the hiring process (phone screening calls, video interviews and in-person meetings).Use skill assessment tools and tests to screen candidates.Source candidates on job boards, resume databases, professional networks and through referrals. Oversee internal and external communication, making sure that our company maintains a positive reputation as an employer (for example on Indeed, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, and social media).Organize hiring events and participate in job fairs to network with potential candidates.Research and remain current on current trends and practices in driving recruitment.Skills and Abilities
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors, managers, executives). Agile team player with ability to collaborate with and build relationships across departments.Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.Highly effective oral, written, presentation, and influencing skills. Strong verbal and written communication skillsPublic speaking / comfortable presenting to large and small groupsFamiliarity with full cycle recruitment.Hands-on experience with recruitment software, Applicant Tracking Systems, and social media recruiting.Strong interviewing skills and familiarity with various interview techniques (like remote or panel interviews).Bachelor’s or Associates in a Trade & Technical degree and / or bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field.Ability to keep accurate and up-to-date records and logs. Record, itemize, collate, and tabulate data.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred, Business degree preferred; Human Resources concentration is a plus.Seven (7) years plus of Recruitment required.Proficient in Microsoft Office products Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook)R-V Industries, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer
