BSDC Housekeeping Supervisor (Open)

We are seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor who will oversee custodial and sanitation services, ensuring that our facilities meet high standards of cleanliness, safety, and infection control. This role is essential to maintaining an environment that promotes health, dignity, and quality of life for the people we serve.

Examples Of Work

• Supervise, assign, and monitor the work of custodial, housekeeping, and laundry staff to ensure schedules, priorities, and standards are met.
• Train and coach employees on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and the use of equipment.
• Evaluate staff performance, document assessments, and recommend personnel actions.
• Develop and implement housekeeping and laundry schedules, standards, and special cleaning projects.
• Order, inventory, and distribute supplies and equipment; monitor vendor services as needed.
• Coordinate housekeeping operations with other facility programs and departments.
• Ensure compliance with infection control standards, accreditation requirements, and state / federal regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications : Experience in housekeeping or custodial work, and two years of experience in supervising assigned workers. OR Coursework / training in supervision, management or organization of custodial / housekeeping activities and processes and two years' experience in custodial / housekeeping work.

Other : This position may require extended workdays, evenings, or weekend shifts.
