Overview

Automation Test Engineer – UI & API (W2 only)

Our client has an immediate need for an Automation Test Engineer – UI & API, who will collaborate closely with development and product teams to refine user stories, ensure high-quality deliverables, and drive end-to-end test coverage.

Technical Skills : (5+ years)

  • UI Automation- Selenium with Java, Cucumber, Maven / Gradle
  • API Automation- Postman, Karate framework
  • Test Management Tools- ADO, Jira, Confluence
  • DE- Eclipse / IntelliJ / VSCode, SSMS
  • CI / CD- GIT, BitBucket, Jenkins
    • Flex Skills :
  • C#
  • Asp.Net
  • Rest API

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with teammates to refine and validate user stories moving into production
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts for UI and API applications
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure software quality
  • Leverage test management tools (ADO, Jira, Confluence) for test planning, execution, and reporting
  • Write and execute SQL queries to validate backend processes and data integrity
  • Contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines by integrating test automation into CI / CD workflows
  • Provide clear defect documentation and partner with developers for timely resolution
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to improving QA processes and practices
