PCU RN Job Details Location : Sun City, Arizona (85351) – Arizona nursing jobs Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 1 / 2025 – End : 3 / 2 / 2026) Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM) Hours per Week : 36 Guaranteed Hours : 24 Estimated Weekly Pay : $1990-$2130 On-Call : Schedule determined by facility Weekend Schedule : To be determined by facility Employment Type : Travel RN, W2 Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years (24 months) of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing experience Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross) No license hits; must not have an Arizona home address on driver’s license Previous travel nursing experience preferred Flu vaccination required (declinations considered) Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills PCU Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and vital signs Administer medications, treatments, and prescribed interventions Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing care activities Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards Enjoy the benefits of travel nursing in Sun City, AZ—year-round sunshine, beautiful parks, golf courses, and a supportive healthcare environment.
