About The Position

• New York license in hand
• Proficient in Epic
• Experience in interpreting and managing dysrhythmias

Description :

Specialty : MedSurg / Telemetry RN

Shift : 4x12 Days

Weekend : Every other weekend.

Holidays : Must be available for holidays.

Contract length : 8 weeks.

First-time travelers accepted.

Must be more than 75 miles from the facility.

Ability to manage a 1 : 5 to 1 : 7 patient ratio for MedSurg with 26 beds.

Specializes in the care of patients post PCI, pacemakers, AICDs, and post MI, as well as cardiac pharmacological interventions.

BLS certification required.

Requires capability in cardiac monitoring and emergency response, including interpretation of dysrhythmias and management of dysrhythmias.

Must have experience with rapid response and code teams.

IV therapy and phlebotomy skills necessary, including peripheral line care and management.

Proficiency in respiratory management, including nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tanks, and non-invasive airway management.

Knowledge of isolation precautions is required.

Candidates may float to different areas as needed.

Experience with Epic charting is mandatory.
