Enterprise Data Strategy Manager
As a key member of the Enterprise Risk Management team, you will be part of AgriBank's mission to support the people who feed the world. The Enterprise Data Strategy Manager leads the Bank in data management best practices, data governance implementation and maintenance, to promote consistency and efficiency in reporting, ensure confidential information is protected, and enhance the value of data as a strategic asset to the District.
Job Functions
- Advocates for data management best practices
- Builds and communicates a business case for identified data integrity and consistency priorities
- Influences Associations and / or Bank to modify processes to meet District Data consistency goals
- Communicates expectations for completeness and accuracy for all critical data elements with Associations, AgriBank business functions and SunStream Business Services
- Works with Bank business functions, Associations, SunStream Business Services, and other third parties to implement new data reporting requirements
- Works closely with SunStream's Data Architect on database layout, system continuity and user access, to meet Data Management goals
- Leads and collaborates with SunStream Business Services in the creation of an integrated reporting database (Data Lake House)
Data Governance
Develops and implements a comprehensive data governance frameworkParticipates in the Data Review Board and District Data CouncilImplements data quality standards and processes to ensure the reliability and validity of AgriBank's dataImplements data security measures, including user access control, encryption and auditing are defined to protect sensitive dataProvides updates to data governance stakeholdersLeads the identification, classification and documentation of critical data elementsLeads data stewards from Bank functions in identifying and addressing data management plan prioritiesCoordinates with IT data stewards from SunStream Business Services ensuring continuity in roles and responsibilities between the organizationsEducates stakeholders on data governance processesWorks with Technology & Security Officer to develop and enhance data security frameworkSystem Leadership
Provides ongoing leadership to System data management effortsDesigns possible System-wide data management methodologiesBuilds relationship with other System Technology providers to share best practices and influence consistent response to data integrity and consistency issuesStaff Management
Selects, develops, motivates, and evaluates senior data analyst and data intern (as needed)Leads and effectively collaborates in a highly matrixed environment, including internal and external resourcesDetermines division of responsibilities and provides work guidance and directionImplements performance standardsEducation and Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field10 years of related experienceOr an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the jobKnowledge

The typical base range for this role is between $118,000-$186,000. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
