Valid and unrestricted State of California Registered Nurse (RN) License. Certifications (must be current, issued by the American Heart Association) : Basic Life Support ( BLS ) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support ( ACLS ) Pediatric Advanced Life Support ( PALS ) NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification. Must comply with and maintain all health requirements designated by Kern Medical Center. Depending on the assignment, additional certifications of competency may be required and maintained as a condition of employment.
