The B-52 Bomber powered by the TF33 engine provides the USAF with an extremely important mission. Over the years, the mission readiness for this weapon system has degraded and the USG is working closely with P&W to recover the sustainment of the TF33 fleet. As a result, the TF33 program team has brought on new contracts requiring the program to grow by 3X.

The TF33 Materials Analyst is responsible for the management of proposals, orders, and multiple customer agreements supporting all TF33 customers : DLA, US Air Force, and NATO. The key function in this role is to support aftermarket spare part sales through various SAP transactions and reporting. Strong analytical skills, ability to learn new systems quickly, capability to prioritize daily tasks, and ability to work independently under pressure on multiple projects are all critical to success in this role.

What You Will Do

  • Interface with internal and external organizations and customers to communicate and prepare for successful material alignment, material sourcing, material expedite, and material shipment
  • High level understanding of customers' critical pacing material and support a monthly Critical Parts call to provide delivery status on the most critically needed parts for the Tinker depot
  • Must have the ability to receive inputs internally and package and deliver clear external messaging to the customer
  • Continuous schedule alignment of supply and demand
  • Participate in PMO material forecasting integration with Delivery Assurance to ensure the proper demand signal to the supply base through the SIOP and Deep Look processes and systems
  • Reporting element that includes a suite of Business Units reports, both routine and ad-hoc
  • Drive continuous improvement across the materials organization utilizing CORE tools
  • Utilizing strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal - in relating directly with the U.S. Air Force, DLA, and NATO Customers is key to this role

Qualifications You Must Have

  • BS or BA in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering
  • 5 years of Business, Supply Chain or Customer experience or an advanced degree with 3 years of Business, Supply Chain, or Customer service experience
  • US Citizenship required. This position may require access to systems / tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship
  • Qualifications We Prefer

  • Previous SAP and customer service experience desired; working knowledge of sales orders in SAP
  • Previous experience with DLA Aviation and / or USAF customer and contracts preferred
  • Efficient in use of Office software (Teams, One Note, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
  • The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
