Your day blends preventive care with hands-on troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. You'll partner closely with teammates, keep detailed records, and jump in to support new equipment installs—all while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

A day in the life

You start with a walk-through and scheduled inspections, catching small anomalies before they become downtime. A vibration reading hints at bearing wear—you plan the repair. Midday, a line reports an intermittent fault; you read the schematic, trace the circuit, and get the machine back online. Later, you assist with installing a new piece of equipment, documenting settings and maintenance intervals. Before clocking out, you tidy the area and update maintenance logs so the next shift has clear visibility.
