Job Details

  • Registered Nurse position in ICU / IMC Float specialty.
  • Role involves floating between ICU main, ICU Overflow, and IMC (stepdown unit).
  • Shift options : 7a – 7p or 7p - 7a with 36 weekly guaranteed hours and rotating weekends.
  • Patient population includes adult and geriatric patients.
  • Common diagnoses / treatments include CABG, TAVR, STEMI, NSTEMI, Stroke, Trauma, cardiovascular, neuro, medical surgical ICU / IMC.
  • Experience required : 1 year travel, 1-2 years ICU.
  • Preferred skillset includes mixed ICU, Cardiac / CVICU.
  • Equipment used includes Baxter Infusion Pumps, GE Monitoring.
  • EHR system : Medhost.

  • Current State License required.
  • 2 years recent acute experience required.
  • Required certifications : ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
  • Preferred certifications : TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).

    • Schedule Information

  • Shift options : 7a – 7p or 7p - 7a.
  • Weekly guaranteed hours : 36.
  • Rotating weekends.
  • No block schedule requests; 48 hour shifts can be considered but not guaranteed.
  • Candidate shift preference flexibility requested (day or night, or only days / nights).

  • Unit : ICU / IMC Float on 2nd Floor.
  • Trauma Level : 3.
  • Facility Department / Cost Center : 650 / 630.
  • Number of Beds : ICU – 16, IMC – 30 (including ICU Overflow).
  • Patient Ratios : ICU – 1 : 2, IMC – 1 : 3 or 1 : 4.
  • Patient population : Adult / Geriatric.
  • Supervisor : ICU and IMC supervisors named but removed for privacy.
  • Dress Code : Black Scrubs.
