Identity Management Consultant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled IT Systems Administrator with a strong background in PowerShell scripting Microsoft 365 Cloud solutions Active Directory , and Microsoft Exchange . This role focuses heavily on identity and access management , supporting secure, compliant user access across multiple platforms for Executive Branch agencies.

Key Responsibilities :

• Create and manage user identities and enterprise license allocations
• Administer secure access to Active Directory (AD) and Azure -secured resources, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA, CJIS, PCI, FTI, and FERPA
• Support and troubleshoot email services including mailbox creation, distribution lists, and shared mail resources
• Manage user / group permissions and process data access requests through ticketing systems
• Use PowerShell scripting to optimize and automate identity management tasks
• Handle file recovery tasks using Volume Shadow Services and backup software, while guiding users in cloud file / email recovery
• Document processes, procedures, and workflows, and actively suggest areas for improvement
• Provide second-tier support and collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to resolve complex issues
