American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for night shifts at an acute care Level I trauma center, requiring 2+ years of recent CT experience and current ARRT-CT, BLS, and IL state licensure.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in an adult acute care hospital with a Level I trauma designation and 562 staffed bedsCT department serving adult outpatient, ICU, and emergency populationsNight shift schedule : three 12-hour shifts (6 : 30 PM - 7 : 00 AM), including every 4th weekendOn-call and holiday coverage required as neededNo floating required outside of the CT Tech roleProcedures include abdomen / pelvis (with and without contrast), chest (with and without contrast, vascular protocols), head / neck (carotid, trauma, with and without contrast), coronary CTA, spine, and musculoskeletal trauma studies3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement responsibilitiesUses Cerner EMR; Cerner experience is requiredFirst-time travelers are accepted for this assignmentMust be able to work two out of three major holidaysRTO of up to five days (non-holiday) may be auto-approved; greater RTO requires approvalDress code is any solid color scrubsParking permit provided at no cost after form completion during orientationPrevious Memorial perm or PRN employees must have a 12-month break before applying as travelersModules are completed virtually on the first day and annually thereafterLicense required if applicable\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years recent CT experience in acute care, outpatient, ICU, emergency, and trauma settingsCurrent ARRT and ARRT-CT credentials requiredActive BLS certification requiredActive Illinois state license required or must be in application process with documented ETADemonstrated ability in isolation precautions, contrast media preparation / administration, radiation safety, peripheral IV insertion, and venipunctureDocumented experience in required CT procedures and post-processing skillsSSN and DOB required for considerationMust provide two professional supervisory references from the past two yearsMust have full seven-year work history with gaps explained\n Benefits\n
