In this role, you'll monitor markets, manage firm-wide trading procedures, and collaborate with advisors, portfolio managers, and our CIO to ensure client portfolios stay aligned and optimized. The Senior Trading Specialist Role at Innovia
Once fully onboarded, you'll take on the following responsibilities as a highly functioning Senior Trading Specialist :
- Execute trades on public securities with accuracy and efficiency to achieve best execution
- Monitor portfolios and market activity to support firm-wide and client allocations
- Collaborate with Wealth Advisors, Portfolio Managers, and the CIO on rebalancing and tactical adjustments
- Generate performance reports and share insights with investment professionals and senior leadership
- Utilize Tamarac, Salesforce, and other tools to streamline workflows and trading processes
- Grow as a subject matter expert on the Tamarac Trading platform
- Lead the firm's relationship with our custodians to improve the client experience
- Participate as a regular member of the Innovia Investment Leadership Team
- Contribute your insight into the monitoring and review of the strategies Innovia uses to benefit our clients
- Ensure all trading activities comply with regulatory requirements and firm policies

Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field7-10 years of proven experience as a trader in the financial industry, preferably within an RIA or asset management firmStrong understanding of financial markets, investment instruments, and trading strategiesProficiency in using trading platforms and related technologies; expertise in Tamarac or equivalent highly preferredSignificant experience with custody partners (such as Fidelity and Schwab) including a full understanding of their operations around trading and reportingProactive and detail-oriented professional with excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively in a collaborative team environmentStrong attention to detail and accuracy in trade executionExcellent oral and written communication skillsInnovia ISM's
