Schedule and Call Requirements :

• Schedule :

Monday - Friday, roughly 8 am - 5 pm

Call every third evening

Job Description :

Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible (with plans to test) in Psychiatry

Experience in treating patients ages 6 and up is preferred

Leadership opportunity available for qualified and interested candidates

Inpatient Psych (adult unit and adolescent unit), Hospital Consults, ER Consults

5-12

18 adults, 5 adolescents

1 part-time inpatient Psychiatrist, 2 Advanced Practice Providers

No inpatient psychologists

Cerner

Designation III

University of Iowa, 40 minutes by car

Security on each campus

Anxiety Disorders, Affective Disorders, ADD / ADHD, Personality Disorders, Eating Disorders, Developmental Disorders, Psychotic Disorders, Organic Disorders

Family Therapy, Restraint Application, Group Therapy, Pharmacotherapy, Seclusion therapy, Voluntary Commitments, ER
