MNS is hiring a Project Manager to apply technical skills and leadership of planning, design and management of transportation projects and related infrastructure for clients in the public sector.

MNS is searching for a strategic Design Project Manager and people leader who will support the growth of our Water Resources department. While we support a hybrid / remote working atmosphere this person will need to be geographically located in either the Greater San Francisco Bay area, the Central Coast, Orange County / Los Angeles County, or the Inland Empire to be within commutable distance to our clients and projects. This role will have a direct impact by serving as the client manager for projects and may also take on responsibilities to cultivate new industry relationships, in coordination with and support from the Engineering Market Leader, Business Development Manager, and other internal leaders and support staff. In this consulting engineering role, the ideal candidate will apply their technical expertise and leadership to the planning, design, construction, operation, and management of municipal water and wastewater systems—including, but not limited to, treatment plants and facilities, pipelines, pump stations, conveyance infrastructure, and storage facilities.

Responsibilities : Water / Wastewater

• Manage detailed planning and design efforts for a wide array of water and wastewater projects, ranging from collection and distribution to treatment and reuse with particular emphasis on projects associated with municipal scale systems. Including, but not limited to a combination of the following : treatment plants and facilities, pipelines, pump stations, conveyance infrastructure, and storage facilities.
• Oversee work related to accepted engineering practices and techniques for water and wastewater treatment process and collection / distribution design.
• Manage and participate in the development of engineering reports and studies for water and wastewater projects including treatment and collection / distribution.
• Leverage existing, and build new, relationships to identify, position for, and pursue projects to maintain a backlog of work.
