Job Details

Responsibilities :

  • Draft and proofread pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
  • Manage client files, both physical and digital (MyCase experience is a plus)
  • E-file court documents with Florida courts
  • Maintain attorney calendars, deadlines, and hearing dates
  • Assist with billing, time entry, and expense tracking
  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
  • Prepare trial binders and organize exhibits
  • Qualifications :

  • 2+ years of experience as a legal assistant (family law preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Florida family law procedures and court filings
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) highly preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with legal software like Clio, MyCase, or similar
