Non-Profit Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable / receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards, laws, and non-profit regulations.
• Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasting.
• Lead the preparation and coordination of annual audits and tax filings.
• Review and implement internal controls to safeguard the organization's financial resources.
• Collaborate with program managers to track and report on grant spending and compliance.
