Videographer

Description

iBUYPOWER is looking for a Videographer to work full-time in-house to produce and create various video content aimed at the PC gamer audience. Typical projects include build videos, promotional sales commercials, product reviews, unboxing videos, "how to" videos, etc. You would be responsible for assisting in scripting, storyboarding, lighting, audio setup, set design, camera work, editing, color correcting, audio editing and final export to various media sizes. At times, this will be a one-man show but you would be collaborating on a team consisting of graphic designers, motion designers, video editors as well as an energetic marketing team. A big part of this position includes managing the video content schedule and helping manage the company's in-house studio.

Ideal candidate works comfortably in the computer gaming space and knows how to build PCs from scratch. Previous experience creating tech hardware and / or consumer electronics videos are a major plus. Additional pluses if you have motion graphic, manual lens focus skills, audio composing and color correcting experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Shoot engaging product-focused and UGC-style video content for social media and digital advertising campaigns.
• Operate a variety of camera systems to capture high-quality footage.
• Independently light scenes for a variety of aesthetics—from clean product shots to dramatic gaming-inspired setups.
• Utilize LED-based lighting kits (Aputure and similar) for flexible scene setups.
• Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to align content with brand identity and campaign goals.
• Perform light video editing on captured footage for delivery across web and social platforms.
• Stay up-to-date with current video trends and best practices for gaming and tech content on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
