Opportunity : RN - PICU Job Details : - Work in a 9-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) - Patient ratios : PICU 1 RN to 1-2 patients, Stepdown 1 RN to 2-3 patients - Required to work 3 weekends in a 6-week schedule - Self-scheduling available - Float to Pediatrics and NICU as needed - 1 year PICU experience required - PALS certification required - Dress code : Navy blue or white scrubs (all navy, all white, or navy pants with white tops) - Work with Alaris pumps and Cerner documentation system - HUC available 9 AM to 9 PM, tech shared with PICU - Perform IV starts, catheter insertions, assist with lumbar punctures, central line dressing changes, hemodynamic monitoring, trach care, tube feeding and placement, ICP monitoring, and ventilator management Facility : This flagship hospital is licensed for 815 beds and has been recognized as one of America's 50 Best Hospitals by Healthgrades from 2020-2023, identifying it as among the top 1% of hospitals nationwide for clinical quality.
