Responsibilities

  • Conduct laboratory tests to assist scientists in making qualitative or quantitative analyses of materials using techniques such as (chromatography, spectroscopy, and microscopy).
  • Sample prep / cutting / hand tools / QC / Strength testing / tensil / physical prop.
  • Perform routine analyses to check accuracy, applicability, and reasonableness of test data.
  • Record data and prepares simple charts or graphs.
  • Accurately follow work instructions along with established operating procedures and test methods.
  • Maintain and clean laboratory instruments or equipment.
  • Provide and maintain safe work environment by participating in safety programs, committees, or teams and by conducting laboratory / plant safety audits.
  • Provide technical support or assistance to engineers
  • Test Sheets / (heavy project exposure and management)

Qualifications & Experience :

  • 1-3 years of related laboratory experience
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associates Degree or related work experience preferred.
  • High School Matriculation
  • Technical Diploma

  • Multitasking / handle multiple responsibilities / priorities

    • Physical and Environmental Requirements :

    Physical Requirements :

  • Continuously stand up to 4 hours.
  • Walking short distances through the department / building.
  • Use hands / arms to pick and carry product and operate required equipment.
  • Lift objects up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
  • Speak in English with or without an assistive device.
  • Hear with or without an assistive device.
  • Read and write legibly. Including very small print.
  • Listen to information, and follow directions provided through an electronic headset.
  • Continuously stand, stoop, bend, kneel, reach, push / pull, scanning, counting, keying orders, cleaning, carrying, and move freight. Including repetitive motion.
