About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join a long-established and growing company specializing in advanced training and tracking systems for dogs. This position reports directly to the CFO and will handle all core accounting functions, monthly close, reporting, and process improvements.
The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes ownership of financial accuracy and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Lead monthly close and prepare internal financial statements and reports.
- Review key balance sheet reconciliations (bank, AR / AP, inventory, prepaid, etc.).
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Work with external CPA firm on year-end close and tax filings.
- Ensure GAAP compliance and maintain internal controls.
- Collaborate with Operations and Customer Service teams on reconciliations and collections.
- Improve accounting systems, processes, and automation efforts.
- Support ad hoc financial and system projects as needed.
Qualifications
Required :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5+ years of progressive accounting experienceStrong understanding of GAAP and internal controlsAdvanced Microsoft Excel and ERP system proficiencyExcellent communication, accuracy, and organizational skillsPreferred :
Experience preparing full financial statements and management reportsFamiliarity with ERP systems (D365, SAP, etc.) , EDI , or Shopify B2B / B2CBilingual in Korean (preferred, not required)Benefits
