Position Overview

We’re seeking an experienced and compassionate

Registered Nurse (RN)

to join our

PRN Float team

• . In this role, you’ll work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care across multiple units.

As a Float RN, you’ll bring flexibility, critical thinking, and a commitment to excellence while adapting to various clinical settings and patient needs. This position is ideal for nurses who thrive in a dynamic environment and are passionate about making a meaningful impact in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver individualized, evidence-based nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Collaborate with physicians, care managers, and team members to ensure coordinated, safe, and effective patient care.

Communicate effectively with patients and families, providing education and emotional support.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with policies and standards.

Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability when floating across different departments and patient populations.

Support quality improvement initiatives and uphold patient safety goals.

Serve as a mentor or preceptor to new nurses, promoting a positive and professional practice environment.

Participate in professional development, shared governance, and ongoing competency assessments.

Qualifications

Education :

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required)

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Experience : Minimum of

10 years

of recent direct patient care experience (Required)

Licensure : Active

Registered Nurse (RN)

license in the state of Georgia or a

Multi-State Compact

license

Certifications :

Basic Life Support (BLS)

through the American Heart Association (Required)

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

certification (Required or provisional)

National Specialty Certification

preferred
