Job Title :  Respiratory Therapist

\nLocation (Onsite, Remote, or Hybrid?) : Milwaukee, WI (ONSITE)

\nContract Duration : 13 weeks

\nWorking Hours : 7AM - 7 : 30PM \n\n Total Weekly Hours : 36 \n\n\n \n\n\nJob Title : (1) Cardiac PICU– 12 HR Weekend Day Shift\n\n

\nContract length : 13 weeks

\nGuaranteed hours : 36 hours per week – hours not guaranteed week of orientation

\nShift Requirements : 12-hour weekend days; 7a-7 : 30p,

\nFloat Requirements : float to NICU and PICU as needed

\nWeekend requirements : Every FRI-SAT-SUN

\nHolidays : rotate every other

\nOn call / Call Back : None\n\nEMR : Epic

\nEducation : ASN or BSN; BSN preferred

\nRequired certs to be attached upon submittal : WI or Compact RN license, AHA BLS, AHA PALS; AHA ACLS preferred, but not required.

\nMinimum experience : 12 - 18 months in high acuity cardiac PICU required. Level I Trauma  experience highly preferred. \n\nSpecial skills : Use critical thinking and cardiac,  High acuity cardiac PICU with open heart, heart transplants, and open chests.

\nUnit : West 3 – Pediatric CICU; 24 bed Pediatric Cardiac ICU unit caring for a variety of ages including neonates / infants up to adult congenital patient. RNs provide coordination and management of patient care for patients and families. Use critical thinking and cardiac assessments to provide nursing care of cardiac and cardiovascular surgery patients. Provide nursing care for the hemodynamically compromised patients and patients with impending respiratory failure.

\nScrub Colors : Any professional scrubs

\nJewelry (body piercing / body adornment) : A single small stud is now permitted to be worn in the nose. No other visible body piercings (e.g. tongue, eyebrow, lips and gauges) are acceptable (except ear piercings). Flesh colored or clear piercing plugs may now be worn.

\nTraveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where the unit is closed and orientation week.\n\n
