Municipal Attorney - Wenatchee, WA

Salary Range : $85,000-$170,000 DOE

Are you an experienced municipal attorney looking for a meaningful role in a vibrant community?

A well-established Pacific Northwest law firm is seeking a  Municipal Attorney  to join its Wenatchee office. This position is ideal for someone with experience in municipal law who's ready to take on a role serving as  City Attorney or Assistant City Attorney  for multiple municipalities.

You'll advise city councils, mayors, and staff on a wide range of legal matters-from land use and zoning to public records, ethics, and contracting. If you've served as lead counsel for a city, county, utility, or other public entity, this is a great opportunity to bring your expertise to a firm that values collaboration, community, and professional growth.

What they're looking for :

  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Active Washington State Bar membership (or eligibility within one month of hire)
  • Experience in municipal law
  • Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Experience advising public entities and drafting ordinances, resolutions, contracts, and policies
  • Ability to manage multiple client relationships and attend public meetings

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Advise city councils, mayors, and staff on legal compliance and governance
  • Draft and review ordinances, resolutions, contracts, and other municipal documents
  • Represent municipalities in litigation, hearings, and administrative proceedings
  • Provide guidance on land use, zoning, ethics, public records, and procurement
  • Attend council and commission meetings and respond to client inquiries
  • Collaborate with firm attorneys and staff to deliver high-quality service
