Certified Medical Assistant for Quality Department

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Medical Assistant for our Quality Department.CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the area : Located in the heart of the Ozarks, our main campus in Bolivar has a hometown feel and affordable housing options of rentals or apartments. About the department : The Quality department is clinically-led and evidence-based for supporting the safest, highest quality health care across the continuum of care for achieving zero harm.

A typical day includes : supporting the organizational employee health program.

  • providing pre-employment screenings
  • Providing immunizations during orientation.
  • Providing annual fit testing.

Job Requirements :

  • Education : Medical Assistant course
  • Experience : Must have at least one year CMA experience
  • Skills : Attention to detail
  • Certification : CMA, RMA or CCMA required
  • Physical : frequent walking, standing, and light physical effort performed on a level surface

    • The position is PRN, Days.

  • Mondays 1pm-5pm required; Wednesdays 9am-1pm but flexible
