RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - NICU

Job Details :

Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM

13-week assignment duration

Patient ratio of 1 : 2 or 1 : 3 depending on acuity level

15-bed NICU unit

Required certifications : Arizona license, NRP, Level 3 NICU experience, Infant Driven Feeding Certificate

Preferred certification : STABLE

Minimum 3 years NICU experience required

Attend high-risk and newborn deliveries

Handle NICU admissions and provide specialized neonatal care

Start IVs and draw laboratory specimens

Ventilator experience required

May float to postpartum unit during low census to care for newborns or couplets if experienced

Any color scrubs acceptable

Electronic medical record system : Cerner

Utilize nursing process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies

Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in patient care

Delegate patient care priorities and provide supervision of assigned personnel
