Registered Nurse- ICU (PRN)

Location : Louisville, KY, 40207

Employment Type : PRN

Pay Rate : $40 - $45 / hr; (Negotiable based on experience)

Shifts Available :

12-hour : 06 : 45 PM 07 : 15 AM
8-hour : 09 : 00 AM 05 : 00 PM

Job Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse (PRN) to join our healthcare team in Louisville, KY. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality critical care to patients in a fast-paced intensive care unit. You will work closely with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare staff to ensure optimal outcomes for critically ill patients.

Key Responsibilities :

Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Monitor and assess critically ill patients, respond to changes in condition, and adjust care plans accordingly.

Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by the medical team.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate patient care.

Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and progress.

Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.

Maintain ICU equipment and ensure a safe, clean working environment.

Follow all infection control protocols and hospital safety standards.

Required Qualifications :

Active and Valid RN license in the state of Kentucky.

Minimum of 1 year ICU or critical care experience .

BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills.

Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
