IT QA Analyst – DP World

Location : Perris, CA (United States)

Join to apply for the IT QA Analyst role at DP World . We are seeking a QA Analyst to support enhancement and improvement of the CRF system on the Dell processing environment.

Key Accountabilities

  • Team player, working with solutions analysts, developers and operational leads.
  • Attend group meetings and provide updates / feedback on testing progress to management and project teams.
  • Use current system knowledge to determine testing requirements for upcoming changes and continue to develop that knowledge.
  • Create test plans for projects to ensure high-quality implementation of new system functions that are suitable for operations and problem free.
  • Take ownership of test plans and manage them through to completion, providing updates to stakeholders.
  • Track defects and work closely with development and solutions teams to resolve issues found in the test cycle, ensuring projects are bug-free at deployment.
  • Serve as the point of contact for operations, providing walkthrough documentation for changes and fielding queries from the deployment, feeding back to the wider IT team as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

  • IT qualification is desirable.
  • Strong operational logistics experience and computer skills are required.

  • Create test plans and implement best practice testing solutions.
  • Attend and actively participate in project workshops and meetings.
  • Ensure all projects are completed to the highest quality level.
  • Record and clearly articulate product defects.
  • Contribute to analysis and improvement of software development life-cycle processes.
  • Support software deployments through warranty periods to project closure.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    • Your Key Qualifications

  • Strong experience with the Syncreon WMS and the Apple operation.
  • Previous testing or operational experience.
  • Experience with regression, integration and system-level test execution.
  • Strong understanding of the project life cycle, deliverables, defect tracking and management.
  • Knowledge of modern test methodologies and concepts of databases.
  • 3rd level qualification in an IT-related discipline.
