Role : Contract Administrator
We are seeking a motivated Contract Administrator to support both government and commercial contracts. This role is a great fit for someone with foundational contract experience who is eager to deepen their expertise through mentorship, training, and hands-on project work. Successful performers will be considered for advancement to Senior Contracts Administrator.
What You’ll Do
Assist with preparing, reviewing, and tracking contracts and modifications
Manage the complete contract lifecycle, from initiation to completion, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Maintain accurate, audit-ready electronic and paper records of contracts, proposals, amendments, renewals, RFQs, vendor agreements, and purchase orders
Conduct reviews of contracts and supporting documentation to identify discrepancies, mitigate risks, and ensure adherence to FAR / DFARS and internal compliance standards
Support change management processes including contract modifications, extensions, or terminations
Coordinate with production, engineering, quality assurance, and accounting teams to ensure operational needs are reflected in contractual agreements
Monitor funding, deliverables, and deadlines while keeping stakeholders informed
Prepare accurate reports, dashboards, and spreadsheets for leadership
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, OR 2+ years of relevant experience (contracts, purchasing, project coordination, or administration)
1–2 years’ experience in a contracting or administrative support role (government contracting experience preferred)
Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, and related regulations (or willingness to learn through training)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Integrity and discretion in handling confidential contract information
U.S. Citizenship required (per federal contract requirements)
