Location : Round Rock, Texas (78681) – Central Texas nursing jobs

Facility Setting : Emergency Department (35 beds)

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 3 / 2025 – End : 2 / 2 / 2026)

Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Requirement : Rotating weekends (4 weekend shifts in 4 weeks)

Electronic Medical Record : Meditech EMR

Dress Code : Navy scrubs for Registered Nurses

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1360 - $1460 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact state – Texas nursing license required

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience

Certifications : TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) and ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) required

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred

Strong clinical skills, high energy, and ability to excel in a fast-paced ER environment

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in a busy 35-bed Emergency Department

Manage trauma, stroke, STEMI, and moderate sedation cases

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including RNs, PCTs, medics, and unit secretaries

Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR

Follow unit policies, procedures, and dress code standards

Deliver compassionate support to patients and families during critical medical situations
