CEVA Logistics is seeking a knowledgeable and results-driven FTZ Supervisor / Administrator to oversee Foreign Trade Zone operations at our Nashville, TN location. This role is responsible for ensuring full compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Foreign Trade Zone regulations, and other U.S. regulatory agency requirements.
As the FTZ Supervisor, you will lead a local production team, serve as the designated Zone Administrator, and collaborate closely with the FTZ user / client and internal stakeholders to drive operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the FTZ production team, including performance management and training
- Ensure compliance by auditing CBP documentation, FTZ transactions, and warehouse inventory
- Continuously improve FTZ procedures and maintain accurate operational manuals
- Act as liaison with CBP, carriers, the FTZ user / client, and internal departments
- Manage high-volume FTZ operations to meet critical carrier and warehouse cut-off times
- Oversee and resolve EDI, ASN, and other system-related issues in collaboration with IT and stakeholders
- Ensure timely and accurate electronic filings (e214, 3461, 7501, 7512) to CBP
- Maintain accurate FTZ records in accordance with federal recordkeeping requirements
- Supervise inbound zone-to-zone transfers and inventory reconciliation
- Develop and maintain clear, up-to-date work instructions for all FTZ processes
Qualifications
Required :
High school diploma or GED3–5 years of experience in FTZ operations, customs brokerage, or warehouse / logistics operationsPrior experience leading teams or managing projectsPreferred :
U.S. Customs Broker LicenseBachelor’s degree in a related fieldSkills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs, FTZ regulations, and international trade practicesFamiliarity with customs valuation, HTS classification, compliance, trade programs, and inventory control systemsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and job-specific software (EDI, ASN, WMS)Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsClear and effective communication—both written and verbalAbility to work under tight deadlines while managing multiple prioritiesTeam-oriented with strong leadership and interpersonal abilitiesTravel Requirements : No travel is required in this position
