The porter plays a very important role in preparing the restaurant for opening each day. It is the porter’s responsibility to maintain the restaurant's cleanliness and readiness standards.
Job Details :
- The days needed are Saturday and Sunday, perfect for anyone looking for a little extra income outside of their weekday work!
- Flexible with schedules and requests for time off.
- The start of shift would begin at 5 am and end at 10 am or 2pm depending on your preferred shift, and includes a free meal.
Tasks include, but are not limited to :
Arrive at the restaurant.Check restaurant security.Clean grill and grill area.Clean and filter fryer vats.Set Kitchen up for the start of the day (clean, stock food / supplies).Monitor temperatures of cooling and heating equipment (steamtables with food, walk in cooler / freezer, etc)Maintain floors and garbage bins.Use mop and mop bucket designated for the back of house and front of the house to prevent the transfer of grease.Pull out all kitchen equipment; sweep and mop.Pick-up trash (curbs, dumpster area, drive-thru pad, and walkways).Empty garbage containers.Remove trash.
