About The Position

Job Title : CT Tech

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : CT Tech

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night 3x12-Hour

Hours per Shift : 18 : 00 - 06 : 30

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred; may consider less if candidate holds Level I or Level II experience.

License : State License required; pending license is accepted.

Certifications : ARRT certified CT Tech, ARRT (R), BLS required.

Must-Have :

• Experience with GE and / or Toshiba / Cannon equipment.
• Large hospital or Trauma Level I / II experience preferred.

Description :

Performs diagnostic procedures and follows established guidelines.

Prepares patients for examinations and performs diagnostic radiology procedures.

Conducts routine radiographic studies in diagnostics.

Provides radiation safety for the operator and patient.

Positions patients correctly for procedures, adhering to departmental policy.

Uses charcoal grey scrubs.

Utilizes EPIC EMR for charting.

Typical volume or census for department is 270-290 scans per day.

Experience with 3D rendering and various imaging studies is required.

Must be familiar with various patient age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Maintains compliance with all safety protocols and procedures.
